Celebrating a Successful Summer

This summer has been a whirlwind of activity as we are excited to share some major advancements in our initiatives. We have officially completed our blended training and work-based entrepreneurial education program specifically designed for migrant women in the fashion industry and VET Trainers, who want to support those migrant women. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone as we take a step forward in empowering women to carve out sustainable careers.

Our Innovative E-Learning Platform

At the heart of our program is the launch of an innovative e-learning platform within the LERNPFAD. This platform serves as a vital resource for migrant women, providing them with comprehensive tools and training needed to launch and manage sustainable fashion businesses. The platform is also structured to support VET (Vocational Education and Training) trainers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to guide and mentor our participants effectively. Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the gap in the fashion industry and foster a new wave of female entrepreneurs.

Pilot Training Phase: A Positive Start

We are delighted to announce that we have officially entered the pilot training phase, with two online peer-to-peer sessions conducted in Austria and Greece. This phase is crucial as it allows us to gather valuable insights and feedback from both trainers and participants. The personalized mentoring, coaching, and networking opportunities provided in these pilot sessions are tailored to meet the distinct needs of each individual, ensuring an impactful learning experience.

The feedback we have received thus far is overwhelmingly positive, indicating that this program is not only meeting educational goals but also creating a supportive community among the participants. With 10 VET educators and 10 migrant women involved, our pilot training sessions are just the beginning of a much broader initiative aimed at equipping women with the skills they need to thrive in the fashion industry.

As we look forward to the next phases of the program, we remain committed to our mission of empowering migrant women through education and entrepreneurship. The success of our summer progress is not just an achievement; it is a testament to what can be accomplished when we come together to support marginalized communities.
