EMPOWERING CHANGE THROUGH SUSTAINABLE FASHION:
ENTREP FASHION PILOT TRAINING Outcomes

We’re thrilled to share the exciting outcomes of our recent pilot training for the EntreP Fashion project, part of the Erasmus+ initiative. This training is designed to empower migrant women and support VET (Vocational Education and Training) trainers, providing them with the tools and knowledge to excel in the sustainable fashion sector.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

For Migrant Women – Building Skills for the Future of Fashion:

Our pilot training offered participants valuable insights into recycling, upcycling, and navigating the legal aspects of starting a fashion business. The course also helped them connect with industry networks, opening doors to new opportunities. Based on feedback, we plan to update the content on sustainable materials and include more modern examples of eco-friendly practices. This will ensure the training stays relevant for all participants as they pursue careers in sustainable fashion.

For VET Trainers – Empowering Educators to Lead the Change:

VET trainers shared how the course enhanced their ability to guide participants, with many reporting increased skills in career counseling and understanding legal frameworks. Trainers were especially enthusiastic about the updated strategies for guiding participants through the world of sustainable fashion.

Next Steps for Sustainable Fashion Entrepreneurship:

We’re focusing on refining our assessments and incorporating innovative teaching methods, which helps foster creative thinking and problem-solving. Next we are goingt to incorporate the feedback from our participants and trainers to ensure they’re equipped with the best possible resources.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR PROJECT MEETING IN BULGARIA & ROMANIA!

31.10./01.11.2024 - Following our successful pilot training phase, we are pleased to share highlights from the recent Entrep Fashion Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) held on October 31 and November 1 in Ruse, Bulgaria, and Bucharest, Romania. This meeting marked a significant milestone in our Entrep Fashion Erasmus+ project, bringing together diverse stakeholders passionate about sustainable fashion and innovation.

At this recent Entrep Fashion Meeting, organized by our Bulgarian partner Bulgarian Fashion Association the whole consortium came together including the austrian partners BildungsLAB Hands & Ming Learningcenter (Vienna) and Compass Gmbh (Tyrol) and the greek partner Cradle.

Our collective efforts are driving change in the fashion sector, and we’re thrilled to showcase our journey so far!

DAY 1 IN RUSE, BULGARIA:

We kicked off the event with an inspiring visit to Bulammas MTM Fashion, where we explored their sustainable, made-to-measure, and made-to-order production models. This firsthand experience highlighted the powerful impact of sustainable practices in fashion.

Networking & Connection Building

The day also included enriching panel discussions on project opportunities, allowing participants to share experiences and forge meaningful connections. A traditional dinner at Chiflika Tavern was the perfect end to an engaging day.

Entrep Fashion Showcase at the Ruse Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The showcase featured high-quality Open Educational Resources (OERs), insightful project reports, and inspiring stories of learners who have launched businesses through our project. We were honored to present our collective outcomes and discuss pathways for future collaboration in sustainable fashion.

DAY 2 IN BUCHAREST, ROMANIA:

The second day took us to the Marriage Fest Fair, where we connected with eco-conscious fashion brands like Rabal Su Missura and Sir Ludovic Fashion. This visit provided inspiration and insights into the latest trends in sustainable fashion and how brands are embracing innovative, eco-friendly approaches.
