Simply Repair - Olga Milevsak
Simply Repair specializes in helping immigrant women start their own fashion businesses and brought a unique perspective to the event. Their commitment to sustainability was reflected in the themes of responsibility and environmentalism and encouraged participants to think about how we can bring these values into our communities.
The re:pair Festival in Vienna
It is taking place from October 10 to 27, 2024, is a unique event focused on sustainability through the act of repair. With over 120 events, including hands-on workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and performances, the festival aims to teach creative repair skills and highlight its importance in combating the climate crisis. By making repair fun, accessible, and empowering, the festival showcases how easy it is to integrate these practices into everyday life, promoting more sustainable consumption and a circular economy. Most events are free, ensuring broad accessibility to all participants.
